Bannister strengthens family law department with Véronique De Coninck
Véronique De Coninck joins the department since Jan. 4 family law led by Steven Van Geert. Steven and Véronique are no strangers to each other and have shown themselves to be a successful family law tandem in the past.
We are very much looking forward to working with Véronique and asked her 3 power questions as a quick introduction. Let's meet Véronique!
Why family law, Véronique?
VDC: "Family law is the logical choice for me. I knew early on in college that I would continue in this branch of law, so after my internship I continued my chosen route purposefully. Absolutely decisive for my choice was the personal contact. I am someone who enjoys working with people and I love the daily contact with my clients."
Why did you choose Bannister?
VDC: "Simple! First of all, because I have worked with Steven in the past. We formed a well-oiled team so I know our "cocktail" is a good fit. In addition, I am also really looking forward to running in a relatively young office, an office with ambition and an office with balls. Together with Steven, I see putting the family law department further on the map as a fine challenge. And that Bannister is "not your average law firm" is already clear to me after day one..."
Finally, what gives you a buzz?
VDC: "Top performance, and by that I mean: winning complex cases that seem like a "mission impossible" at the start. That gives me real energy, for myself but also for my clients. And privately? There, my new real estate project and my 4 children are absolute energy boosters... but sometimes also energy guzzlers (laughs)."
