Kristof Panis

Kristof Panis has been a lawyer since 2006. He worked for many years with international companies such as IBM, Accenture, Philips, SABIC, BASF and UCB. His focus areas include corporate law, contract law (often in English), IT law, intellectual property, and privacy & data protection. Kristof obtained his Master of Laws from the VUB and also earned a Master in Intellectual Property Rights and Competition Law from KUB/KUL, graduating cum laude. He later completed an LL.M. in Telecommunications & Computer Law at Queen Mary University of London. He is currently studying part-time for an LL.M. in U.S. Law at the GMU Antonin Scalia Law School (Virginia, USA). He also published the book “The Relationship between Standards and IP Rights in the ICT Sector”. He is trilingual (NL–FR–EN) and has a good knowledge of German.
