Advice when in doubt about non-compete agreement

An independent contractor contacted us with questions about a non-compete agreement he had previously signed. He had underestimated the scope of that clause, and he was uncertain about what activities he could still pursue.

Together we reviewed what work was and was not covered by the clause so that he could move forward with confidence. We also discussed the possibility of having the clause annulled, as it was out of proportion.
