Mohamed El Manouti graduated with a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Antwerp with distinction.

Even before starting his academic career, he was fascinated by criminal (procedural) law in particular and human rights in general. He therefore focused mainly on these subjects during his studies.

In his Master’s years, he also did an internship with a criminal lawyer, where he closely studied and analysed some high-profile criminal cases.

In 2020, Mohamed El Manouti joined the Antwerp Bar under the patronage of Jorgen van Laer, LL.M., where he is active mainly in criminal law.
