Margot De Laet obtained her Master of Laws degree with distinction at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. During her studies she specialized in criminal and criminal procedure law, with a master’s thesis on the statute of limitations for sexual offences committed against minors.

In September 2020 Margot acceded to the Brussels Bar and in January 2022 she joined Bannister, where she is active in criminal law.

Margot mainly handles cases related to sex offences, assisting both suspects and victims.
